New information on the Meizu Pro 7 has been uncovered from a source code. Details about the upcoming device's specs have been revealed.

According to reports, details about the Meizu Pro 7 come from a source code file dug by, most likely, tech junkies clamoring for the installment. The leak reveals the Meizu Pro 7 will come with a MediaTek Helio X30 processor, not a Qualcomm chip like tech junkies were expecting.

The leak indicates a dual display feature which, according to reports, could be similar to LG's V-series. If the device will come with an AMOLED display then the dual display could easily be an "Always-on" feature. In addition, the smartphone will reportedly sport a 5.2-inch screen and the leak indicates it will come with 3D Touch technology.

Like preceding units, the upcoming Meizu Pro smartphone will have a dual-camera feature. This time, Sony's IMX386 and IMX286 sensors will power the device's cameras. Meanwhile, the front camera will be a 16-megapixel lens with a Samsung S5K368 sensor.

Rumor has it the Meizu installment will use the Flyme operating system and not the latest Android OS. It will come with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB worth of storage. On the other hand, a smaller variant will also be made available, reports say, which will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage capacity.

Although the upcoming Meizu Pro installment will not be on par with the market's best smartphones, the device will be one of the better high-end phones from China this year.

The Meizu Pro 7 launch date remains unclear. Some believe the device will launch within the year. Since the company has yet to comment on the latest claims, it is best for tech enthusiasts to take the reports with a grain of salt.

More updates should roll out soon.
