Meghan Markle on final days on 'Suits': 'She was extra pleasant'

Actress Meghan Markle, who plays Rachel Zane, reportedly spent her last days on the set of USA's legal drama series "Suits" being extra interactive and engaging with her costars and crew.

Sources reveal that the set was nostalgic, as the 36-year-old was expected to leave the show after season 7. "Meghan was extra pleasant on set and more personable, really engaged with the cast and crew," an insider said.

She was also seen spending some time with the crew in her final days of production of "Suits," which catapulted her into popularity since its fruition in 2011. Markle is reportedly leaving her Toronto apartment after the production for the seventh season is finalized. The source also claims that Markle was sad about leaving Toronto and the series, but at the same time, the actress was excited about the new chapter that will unfold for her with her next step.

Nicky Bursic, Markle's stand-in for the show, took to social media to express her thought on Markle, seemingly confirming her departure. "It's been an absolute pleasure and honour being your 'STAND-IN' for the last 2 seasons @meghanmarkle," she captioned the post. She had since made her account private.

Reports say that Markle would be moving to London, where her royal boyfriend, Prince Harry, hails. The pair, who have made their relationship public in October 2016, is also engaged, as per sources. Although no official announcements have been made, many fans are expecting a summer wedding.

News broke out that Markle was leaving the show along with Patrick J. Adams, who plays Mike Ross, when the two were seen shooting a wedding scene in the Toronto set for "Suits." It could easily be a storyline for their exit. Adams was reportedly focusing on exploring other career paths while Markle was departing the series to focus on being a philanthropist.
