"Dancing With The Stars" (DWTS) just became more sizzling, as Maksim Chmerkovskiy expresses affection for his dance partner Vanessa Lachey.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Oct. 10, Chmerkovskiy displayed a sweet note, which he wrote for his partner in "DWTS" following the feud which took place between the two earlier. "Everything I ever want for my partners is literally what @vanessalachey has brought to the dance floor last night. Raw, unapologetic, real emotion expressed through a beautiful dance," the 37-year-old hunk wrote.

The duo has also been making a comeback on the dance floor, scoring 24 out of 30 for their dance number last Monday, Oct. 9, which was Chmerkovskiy's first night back on the floor since he skipped the show a week earlier due to a "personal issue." Lachey on the other hand, was also emotional during the show, opening up about her surgery which she had to undergo due to her premature son Phoenix.

Chmerkovskiy, apart from being sweet with her dance partner, has also stated that he was proud of her, saying that he wouldn't have had the moment with anyone else but her despite the bumpy relationship they had.

Last week saw Chmerkovskiy backing out of his dance number with Lachey allegedly due to their partnership "not going well." Apparently, the two have been fighting behind the show's curtains and were just playing it nice for the cameras. An insider for US Magazine also stated that since their personalities are very similar, they used to disagree about everything; while they seemed to get along well in front of the cameras, they were actually miserable.

But all is well, it seems, as, on Saturday, Oct. 7, the couple hugged while leaving the rehearsal for their dance number. Chmerkovskiy also apologized to Lachey because of the incident. Things seem to have returned to normal since then, and the two are on good terms with each other.

The next episode of "Dancing with the Stars" will air on Monday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
