Brace yourselves for the fifth and final conclusion to Max, Chloe, and Rachel Amber's story.

After four episodes of making challenging choices and facing its consequences, "Life is Strange" is finally drawing to a close as it launches its fifth episode.

Episode 1 ("Chrysalis") saw Max realizing that she is able to control time, thus being able to save her former friend, Chloe from dying after getting shot. This is followed by episode 2 ("Out of Time") where she was urged by Chloe to try out her newly discovered power in helping Kate who is being bullied. In episode 3 ("Chaos Theory"), Max found out more about the secrets of Arcadia Bay as well as the repercussions of using her power. Meanwhile, episode 4 ("Dark Room") revealed more details about the disappearance of Rachel, as Max and Chloe unlocked the mystery of the Dark Room.

Max's story reaches its climax in episode 5 ("Polarized") as a massive tempest hits Arcadia Bay. Game Focus commended the finale for taking the players through the string of visions that Max has experienced all throughout the game series, which gave light to the impending doom and the situation of Rachel.

According to "Life is Strange" game director Raoul Barbet and producer Luc Baghadoust, "Life is Strange" season 5 will be the last part of the series.

Barbet told iDigitalTimes during a Square Enix event at New York Comic Con, "We can say the story will end in episode five. It's our last episode." He added, "Max and Chloe's story is complete."

As for a possibility of a "Life is Strange 2," Barbet and Baghadoust just could not say yet. What they were able to share, however, is that the team working on "Life is Strange" season 5 is already putting its finishing touches on the story, with hopes that fans who supported and loved the previous seasons of the game would do the same for the season 5 conclusion.

"Life is Strange" episode 5 will be available on Oct. 20 for PlayStation 3 (PS3), PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and personal computer (PC).
