Sandbox roleplaying game (RPG) fans should prepare to either claim their own land or get evicted, as sandbox massively multiplayer online (MMO) RPG "Life is Feudal" will be entering its open beta stage.

"Life is Feudal" from developer and publisher Bitbox, is now approaching the end of its closed beta phase, which is why they have now started handing out invites to players to participate in the MMORPG's open beta. Alongside this open beta, the game will also be promoting its early access status on Steam, meaning the game is now being actively promoted by its player base. Initially, it was only available on the developer website.

A free "character ticket" will also be rewarded to players who own a copy of "Life is Feudal: Your Own," which is essentially a stripped-down version of the MMORPG that focuses on a 64-player sandbox survival game. The said character ticket will allow players to move from the game's starting free-to-play island to the much bigger mainland.

"Life is Feudal" is a realistic MMORPG where players can experience what it feels like to live and participate in the Medieval era, where the economy and society revolve around land. Players will be able to start out small and eventually carve their way up to fiefdom or even own a castle and an army. However, the game is not as easy as it sounds since other players will also be seeking their own piece of land and property.

The game boasts a huge 21-square-kilometer open world, which contains all types of climates and can support a concurrent player count of 10,000 per instance. Players will be able to choose a profession of their choice. Some options include the following: blacksmiths, craftsmen, traders, soldiers, and even knights who wage war against rival kingdoms and lords. The game will also feature large-scale battles involving hundreds of players either in the field or in a siege.

"Life is Feudal" is opening its land to players on Nov. 17 for open beta and early access. The game is currently for the PC only.
