In the next episode of "Lethal Weapon," Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) deepens his relationship with DEA agent Karen Palmer (Hilarie Burton) with a mysterious proposal.

The trailer of the upcoming installment of the hit Fox show just released recently which showed Riggs calling up his police partner Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) for help regarding Palmer. They apparently spent the night together but Riggs seemingly does not know what to do next in their relationship.

Murtaugh decides to invite Riggs and his girlfriend Palmer to his house for dinner to clear up the situation. The couple soon arrives at the house and exchange pleasantries. Awhile later, they sit down for dinner when Riggs blurts out, "I think it's a great idea. I think we would have a wonderful time hanging out down there."

Palmer gets caught by surprise and says, "Did he just ask me to..." Murtaugh and his wife Trish (Keesha Sharp) have the same surprised reaction but appear to agree with Palmer. From what can be gleaned from this interaction, Riggs may have asked Palmer to move in with him to take their relationship to the next level.

They appear to be in love and living together may seemingly be what Riggs wants at this point. It remains to be seen though what Riggs actually said at the table and what he wants from their relationship.

In the last episode, Riggs rekindled their love affair when he went to ask Palmer for help in his investigation where she ended up assisting in a murderer's apprehension. Later that night, they met at a convenience store and somewhat had a date.

Palmer forgave him for all his wrongdoings against her in the past. Needless to say, they rekindled their love once again.

"Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 3 will arrive on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
