Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian reportedly spend Valentine's Day together

Lamar Odom appears to be doing better after the former basketball star made his first public appearance following his accidental overdose last year. The 36-year-old was seen at Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 show at New York Fashion week last week, and over the weekend it was reported that Odom spent Valentine's Day with his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian.

E! News reports that the two spent the romantic holiday as friends.

"It was more a day of friendship than romantic love," a source told E! News. The insider added that Odom truly appreciates the reality star for everything she has done for him these past few months.

Back in October, Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel after overdosing on drugs. It was reported that the reality star immediately flew to his side and even made the arrangements for his transfer to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. As the pair's divorce has yet to be finalized, Kardashian is said to be making the decisions regarding his health care. Odom was released from the hospital last month and is reported to be in therapy.

The source said that the former Los Angeles Lakers star gave the 31-year old "beautiful flowers for being the woman and friend he will always love."

On a recent livestream on her app, Kardashian told her fans that Odom has made a lot of progress and is doing very well.

"He's good, he's so good," said the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star. "We went on a hike the other day, Kim Kardashian, me, Lam. It's just crazy how quick things change and you never know and that's such a blessing. And I believe in God and praying and I'm so grateful."

The star also took to her Instagram page on Valentine's Day to post a message about unconditional love.

"Spend your time on those who love you unconditionally," she wrote. "Choose your happy over anything else."
