Kate Middleton continues to make an impression during Chinese President' Xi Jinping's 4-day state visit to Britain. On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Duchess of Cambridge dazzled everyone when she appeared in a red gown and a tiara at a state banquet, and on Wednesday, she impressed everyone again when she appeared in a lacy, violet dress by Dolce and Gabbana for a creative industry event at Lancaster House.
The 33-year old has recently gone back to her royal duties following the birth of her second child, Princess Charlotte, but a new report claims that the Duchess is expecting once again.
An insider recently told Life & Style magazine that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third child.
"They're expecting," said the source. "It happened far quicker than they expected—they'd just started trying for another child. But William and Kate are so excited."
The source claims that the royals' friends are saying that the new prince or princess will arrive "around June."
"They say Kate is at the very beginning of her pregnancy and won't show any sign of a bump until next year," the insider added.
The source also said that the Duchess has been having unusual cravings and that she has been showing a preference for spicy food, such as curries and pizza with chili flakes. The Duchess reportedly had the same taste for spicy fare when she was pregnant with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
It is unclear whether the reports are accurate, as the Duchess experienced severe morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum, during the early stages of both her pregnancies. As the royal has recently been seen in public for a number of engagements and appears to be in the pink of health, it is quite possible that she is not pregnant.
However, the source said that though the Duchess is feeling well at the moment, she allegedly worries that she will suffer from morning sickness again.
"It wasn't as bad with Charlotte as it was with George, so hopefully it will be less extreme this time around," said the source.
