Christian artist Kari Jobe just celebrated her 34th birthday on April 6 and she is thanking her fans and husband Cody Carnes for pulling out all the stops to make her feel special.

"Yesterday you all made me feel so special for my birthday. In fact, you always make my heart so happy and thankful," she wrote on her Facebook page. "Thank you for the sweet stories, pictures, notes, flowers, gifts and silly things you did. I really have to thank my hubs Cody Carnes for making me feel like a princess! I had a sweet birthday! Love you all!"

When Jobe married worship leader Carnes November last year, she described their wedding as a "taste of heaven" and she feels blessed to be married to her best friend.

She concluded that God must love weddings because she felt His presence was stronger during her wedding than at any other time in her life.

Earlier this year, Jobe shared tips on finding the right spouse as she promoted the book called The Right One written by Jimmy Evans and Frank Martin.

"If there is one message I'd like to relay to those who are still searching for a spouse, it would be this: don't allow yourself to get so caught up in the idea of marriage that you miss the voice of the Holy Spirit," she said.

Jobe said that people should not rush into any relationship because God has everything all planned out and He will let people find love at the right time. The singer is speaking from experience since she saw how God's plan for her fell into place when she met and later married Carnes, and she said love is definitely worth waiting for.

"It's worth waiting on God's man for you cause it makes your heart happy and peaceful," she said.
