Justin Bieber smiles, blushes when asked about proposal to Selena Gomez

"Jelena" fans recently took delight with the news of several sightings of exes Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, fueling reconciliation rumors. Although there was no confirmation, a video showing the "Boyfriend" singer smiling and blushing when asked about the "Wolves" singer had the fans rejoicing.

Just as shippers of the former lovers had started to see seemingly reconciliatory gestures between the two, the latest video proved that a smile speaks a thousand words. Bieber was out on the Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills on Monday when he was spotted by the paparazzi.

The video, published by TMZ, showed Bieber smiling it off with Mohamed Hadid, models Gigi and Bella Hadid's dad, and some restaurant crew for a photo. But, just as the 23-year-old "What Do You Mean?" singer was heading toward his ride, he was asked if he was going to propose to the former Disney child star.

Instead of answering the question, Bieber only smiled, but it lasted until he was inside his car. The singer did not say a single word. Although this was not an answer, many fans gushed over his reaction and the possible engagement between him and Gomez.

"Justin couldn't stop smiling when the pap asked him if he was gonna propose to Selena I LOVE MY PARENTS SJSJSJ," user @fearofdrew tweeted. Another one said, "I just watched a video of someone asking Justin Bieber if he'll be proposing to Selena and he just smiled and blush. I TOLD YOU THEY WILL BE GETTING MARRIED. I CALLED IT."

Fans had gotten their hopes high after the two had been seen together since late October. They were first spotted grabbing breakfast in Joi Café and then attending church later that day. During the time, rumors surfaced that Gomez and The Weeknd had split.
