Lately, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been talking about their failed relationship during separate interviews while promoting their respective albums. While the two maintain that they remain good friends, one thing that fans want to know is whether there is a chance that they might get back together.

The Daily Mail was able to get the scoop on Bieber's take on the matter in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. The "What Do You Mean?" singer opened up about his ex-girlfriend, saying that there are a lot of things that remind him of the former Disney star.

"You see something on TV and you're like, 'I remember when we used to watch this' or 'I remember this smell it reminds me of a time.'"

When DeGeneres asked whether there was a possibility that he and Gomez may get back together, the 21-year-old said, "Maybe."

"I mean, we have a lot of history together so maybe, it possibly could happen but I think we're both just on our own journeys of just figuring ourselves out," he explained. He added that perhaps when the time comes when they have done that they can "come together and make an awesome duo."

For his TV appearance, Bieber was casually dressed in khaki colored trousers, a black Metallica shirt over an oversized white shirt, a grey baseball cap and navy blue sneakers.

Before performing his new track "Sorry," Bieber admitted that the song, along with his other hits "What Do You Mean" and "Mark My Words" were inspired by the "Spring Breakers" actress.

Bieber's new album, "Purpose," is slated to come out Nov. 13 and the singer has been working hard to promote his new album. Bieber recently made headlines when he walked off the stage during a performance in Norway and when he walked out during an interview in Spain. Over the weekend, TMZ shared a video of the star getting up from a restaurant table, angrily knocking over a chair and walking away.

Bieber explained what caused him to lose his temper and he tweeted that his friend has just told him "some bad personal news." On Saturday, Nov. 7, the singer took to Twitter to post a picture of a white plastic chair and captioned it, "Our new album #PURPOSE is next Friday. That's all. Love you lol."
