Jessa Duggar shares photos and videos from family's Thanksgiving event

The Duggar family may not be on television anymore, but that hasn't stopped some members of the family from updating their fans about their day-to-day lives. Recently, Jessa Duggar shared some photos and videos from the family's Thanksgiving celebration, and despite everything that they've been through, it looks like everyone has found something to be thankful for during the past holiday.

Jessa posted a video of her siblings Joy-Anna and Jason, and their friends singing a Christmas carol, and the mother of one captioned the Instagram clip, "Preparing to go caroling." She also shared a video of Jinger playing the piano while the family sang "Oh Holy Night." The video was captioned, "Jinger's piano playing is amazing! God has truly blessed her."

Another video shows some of the Duggar children and their friends singing while Jana cuddled Josh and Anna's baby, Meredith, while Joy-Anna carried Jessa and Ben's baby, Spurgeon Elliot. Jessa gave birth to Spurgeon last on Nov. 5, just a few days after the couple celebrated their first year wedding anniversary.

Ben and Jessa also took to their family blog to tell everyone what they are most grateful for, and it's none other than their newborn son.

"This Thanksgiving we are so happy to be parents! Children are a blessing from the Lord…We pray that God would give us the wisdom to be good parents," they wrote.

Fans of the 23-year-old expressed their happiness at the Instagram posts, as some of Jessa's followers posted comments on the photo-sharing site to tell her that they missed seeing the Duggars on TV.

The family's reality show, "19 Kids and Counting," was canceled earlier this year after it was revealed that Josh Duggar molested five young girls—including Jessa and Jill—when he was just a young teenager. However, Jessa and Jill will be back for TLC's three-part special titled "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," which will feature Jessa and Ben preparing for the birth of their baby, while Jill and husband Derick's story will be centered on their missionary work in Central America.

The first part will air on Dec. 13 at 8/7c, while the last two parts of the special will air at 9/8c on Dec. 20 and 27.
