iPhone 5S/ 6 release date nears and Best Buy offers great deals for iPhone 5, Macbook Pro & Air 2013 - savings up to $200

As the release date for the iPhone 5S/5C or iPhone 6 nears, along with the iOS 7 mobile operating system, Apple retailers are offering deals for certain products to clear its inventory in preparation for the new stock.

Best Buy is offering the 32GB iPhone 5 on Sprint for the same price as the 16GB models. This means that those looking to purchase the iPhone 5 can save $100 on the 32GB model.

The retail store has also been offering unlocked iPhone 5 handsets for $756.98, down from $899.99 – saving customers $143.01.

The 13-inch Macbook Pro with 4GB memory and 500GB hard drive and 2.5 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor is being offered for just $1049.99, down from the regular price of $1,199.99. Apple is still selling the same model for $1,199.00.

The 15-inch Macbook Pro with Retina display, 8GB memory and 256 Flash Storage has also been discounted, saving $200. It is on sale for $1,999.99 from the regular price of $2,199.99. The 15 inch Macbook Pro with Retina display with 16GB memory and 512GB Flash storage has also been slashed from $2,799.99 to $2,599.99. The 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina display, 8GB memory and 128 GB flash storage is on sale $100 cheaper than its regular price of $1,499.99.

The latest 13-inch Macbook Air with 4th Gen Intel Core i5 Haswell processor, 4GB memory and 128GB flash storage is also on sale with a savings of $100. Originally priced at $1099.99, the Air is selling for just $999.99.

Apple is just weeks away from possibly unveiling the next generation iPhone. The latest rumors for the seventh-generation handset is an upgraded 12 megapixel camera sensor and dual LED flash system to enhance low-light images.

Apple may release a line of smartphones dubbed the iPhone 5C, which will be a cheaper model offered in a variety of colors. If rumors are true, it would be the first time the Cupertino-based company will release an iPhone that is not black or white.
