Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios officially dropped a new trailer to introduce three playable characters from the first DLC pack of "Injustice 2."

Based on the new trailer, the "Injustice 2" Fighter Pack 1 will add three more playable characters for the upcoming fighting video game. This will include Sub-Zero from "Mortal Kombat," the Tamaran princess named Starfire, and Batman's villain named Red Hood.

According to reports, Sub-Zero made its first debut in the "Mortal Kombat" franchise back in 1992. He is also considered the only character present in the entire video game, which makes him a fitting choice to be added in the upcoming DC Comics-themed fighting game.

On the other hand, the Red Hood that will be included in the Fighter Pack 1 DLC is Jason Todd, one of Batman's adversaries. Meanwhile, Starfire is described as a royal-born superheroine from the planet called Tamaran.

Aside from the three characters, six others are still unannounced. They will all join the game through several premium editions of "Injustice 2," including the Ultimate Edition that can be purchased for $99.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition worth $79.99. The DLC can also be purchased as a standalone game, but the price of the DLC is still unannounced.

Meanwhile, the main "Injustice 2" game will be released on Tuesday, May 16. The game will include several returning heroes and enemies from the first "Injustice 2" game, including Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Catman, Harley Quinn, The Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, The Joker, and Wonder Woman.

The game will also introduce new characters like the Black Canary, Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, Captain Cold, Cheetah, Doctor Fate, Gorilla Grodd, Poison Ivy, Robin, Scarecrow, Supergirl, and the Swamp Thing.

The release date of the Fighter Pack 1 DLC is also yet to be announced.
