Earlier this month, Huawei launched its latest flagship, the Mate 9, alongside the special edition Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, and both phones gained fans due to the devices' sleek design and impressive specs. There have been rumors that a Mate 9 Pro was also in the works, and while the smartphone was not at the launch event, the handset made an appearance in China this week, and the Mate 9 Pro is slated to go on sale in the country along with the standard Huawei Mate 9.
The Mate 9 Pro is smaller than the standard Mate 9, but it has a dual-curved display, and the fingerprint sensor at the back of the Mate 9 was moved to the front of the Pro version. Other than these changes, the smartphone is said to have the same specs as the Mate 9, but how will it do when pitted against the Xiaomi Mi Note 2?
