The next episode of the CBS' action series "Hawaii Five-O" will involve everyone's favorite detective being a pilot to find out the truth about the death of another pilot.

"Hawaii five-O" season 8 episode 8, titled "Ha kaha lu'u ke ala, mai ho'okolo aku (The Trail Leads To a Diving Place; Do Not Follow After)," will see Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) going undercover as a pilot in order to solve the case of the death of a pilot during an air race.

As many had noted, CBS has not released any more information, but with the synopsis circling on the internet, it could be deduced that the lead detective will have to investigate how the plane had crashed that had resulted to the death of the said pilot. How McGarrett could look into the loopholes for possible reason or conflict will have to unfold in the next episode.

Fans can also look forward to seeing how McGarrett will pretend to be an airplane expert. McGarrett is also expected to bear much of the task, with other characters by his side to ensure that the case would be solved.

"Hawaii Five-O" Season 8 episode 8 is directed by Ron Underwood and is written by Ally Seibert and Liz Alper. Guests for this episode include Ricardo Chavira (Agent Callahan), Romualdo Castillo (Guillermo), Jennifer Fairbank (Leili Kahula), Alex Monti Fox (Isaiah Phillips), and Chi McBride (Lou Grover).

In the previous episode, titled "Kau Ka 'Onohi Ali'i I Luna (The Royal Eyes Rest Above)," fans saw McGarrett handle a bank heist spotted by Junior (Beulah Koale). During the ensuing chase, however, he accidentally shot one of their own. This mistake kept him down until it was revealed later in the episode that the guy he shot was one of the robbers.

The eighth episode of "Hawaii Five-O" season 8 will air on Dec. 1, Friday, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
