'Grand Theft Auto Online' update adds Batmobile clone: How to obtain it

"Grand Theft Auto Online" (GTA) players do not need to become billionaire playboys if they want their own Batmobile because the Halloween update for the multiplayer game has now added a makeshift one.

The pseudo-Batmobile is called Vigilante and resembles an all too familiar design. No crime-fighting or parental inheritance is needed, though the in-game car will cost $3,750,000 in "GTA Online" currency. Players will have to work hard for it in-game, or they could just steal the money required for the coveted automobile, though this would require a lot of effort as well. Fortunately, there are several guides and tips to walk players through on the fastest way to get the Vigilante.

Sadly the automobile cannot be obtained by dressing as an in-game bat and beating criminals to a pulp. The players will have to be the criminals instead. During the duration of the Halloween event for "GTA Online," players will be able to gain double the monetary reward and loot for several theft activities and side-games. One of these high-risk, high-reward activities is Smuggler missions, where players must haul a cargo using airplanes and distribute its contraband contents. These missions will pay double up until Nov. 6.

A new Adversary mode called Condemned sees players trying to survive a curse mark by transferring it to other players via bullets. The last remaining player will be the victor, and it is worth noting that this mode will also net double the rewards up until Nov. 6 like Smuggler missions. Of the two, Smuggler missions are the more profitable.

Once players are able to amass at least four million GTA dollars in-game, they can visit the in-game website Southern San Andreas Super Autos to purchase the car there. It is advised that players keep extra cash since the $3.75 million price tag of the Vigilante does not include the upgrades; this means that the actual cost may be more.

After Nov. 6 though, it may get more difficult to acquire money for the Vigilante, so players should take advantage of the double reward bonus should they want the car quickly.
