In the next episode of "Gotham," Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) searches for Ra's al Ghul (Alexander Siddig), while Butch Gilzean (Drew Powell) makes a comeback.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Blade's Path" was released just recently and showed Wayne holding the dagger that Ghul wanted in the first place. It seems Wayne is bent on revenge and wants to take down Ghul. "He's going to try and kill Ra's al Ghul," Wayne's butler and confidant Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) warns Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie). Wayne climbs a building with a grappling hook and infiltrates the prison where Ghul is kept.

He stealthily makes his way to his cell but does not find him there. All of a sudden, Ghul appears and knocks Wayne to the ground using a wave blast. "You weak, foolish boy. I will slaughter everyone you love," Ghul says to Wayne menacingly. It remains to be seen how their encounter will conclude in this coming episode.

Meanwhile, Gilzean comes back from the dead to wreak his revenge. He appears at the end of the footage seemingly transformed and looking over at Gotham City. Viewers have yet to see how he survived getting shot with a pistol last season.

In the previous episode, Ghul attempted to steal the ancient and powerful dagger from Wayne by sending two of his henchmen to get it. One of the thugs was a tracker while the other showcased brute strength. However, Wayne was able to defeat the enemies with the help of Gordon who took down the tracker on his own.

The dagger was safe once more and kept safely in the hands of Wayne. Nevertheless, there are still answers that need to be known about the mysterious blade.

"Gotham" season 4 episode 5 will air on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
