National Basketball Association (NBA) players may be tense regarding the trade rumors which will be confirmed in two months, but the Golden State Warriors are not worried.

Warriors' player Kevin Durant has expressed his sentiments for his team, and he is confident that they will handle the trade rumors well and not fret too much about them. This is because the impending league trades and swaps are to take place early next year on Feb. 8, which is just a few weeks away, leaving the players less time to prepare, particularly those involved in trade rumours.

"I don't think anybody here is worried about it. I haven't been thinking about it. I don't get into the front office stuff. I don't really know what's going on. I feel like from the mood everybody is going to be here. Hopefully, that is so, but we will see what happens. Around this time in the league, anything can happen. It's a business. It's more business than basketball. Teams are going to make moves to try and dethrone us as champs. That's the exciting thing about the NBA. There are so many moves that can be made," stated Durant with confidence.

He did imply that it is simply better to not know about it until it happens since part of what can make players worry is the speculation on whether some rumors are true or not. Durant has also accepted the fact that almost anyone can be traded as part of what makes NBA fair is the player trade practice which is apparently good for business.

Durant has even joked about the situation when asked whether his trade rumors are not real, to which he responded that he hopes so. This could mean that he feels safe that he will retain his position in the team, and while the same cannot be said for others, the notion is certainly not a locker room topic for them as he assured.
