In the next episode of "Ghosted," Leroy Wright (Craig Robinson) and Max Jennifer (Adam Scott) investigate a bizarre incident at a sophisticated country club.

The synopsis and promotional pictures of the upcoming installment titled "The Machine" were released just recently and showed both Wright and Jennifer in undercover outfits as preppy country club members. Jennifer carries the golf bag as he and Wright survey the golf course. They get into a disagreement but are back on the case again about the strange incident. Later at the country club, the formally-dressed Wright snoops around and takes a picture of something that may be important to the case. However, it appears that Wright is later caught and strapped in an old chair in a dungeon-like room.

The supposed villain played by Sam McMurray chats with the frightened Wright who may have discovered the origin of the strange happening. Jennifer and fellow agent Annie (Amber Stevens West) go and look for Wright and may have found him in the prison-like room. However, they seem to have encountered the perpetrator because Jennifer is armed with a golf club and ready to swing at him. It remains to be seen what the bizarre incident is and who is the real mastermind behind it.

In the last episode, Wright, Jennifer, and the rest of the team were locked down at Bureau Underground because a dangerous amphibious creature escaped from its cell and killed some staff employees. Jennifer later discovered that the creature could be killed by dehydrating it. They lured the creature in a room and zapped it with a dehydration device. The horrific monster exploded and the headquarters was released from lockdown. Wright and Jennifer saved the day once again.

"Ghosted" season 1 episode 5 will air in two weeks on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on Fox.
