'General Hospital' spoilers, recap: Luke points his gun at his heart

Luke on General Hospital ABC/ General Hospital

Thursday on "General Hospital," Michael joined Luke at The Haunted Star, and Luke thought that he was there to talk about Tracy, so he explained everything to Michael and told him that little Jake is alive. Michael was stunned about this information, but he told Luke that he was there to talk about tearing down the Spencer house. Luke told him that he's done with that place so he can do whatever he wants to do with it. Michael thanked him and left. Luke walked over to a safe, opened it, and reached inside.

At Wyndemere, Laura confronted Nikolas and told him that she knows Jake is Jason. Laura asked him how he could keep such a secret from her, and she told him to give her a good reason or she'd tell Jason who he is. Nikolas told her that when he learned the truth about him, Liz and Jake have already fallen in love. Nikolas also said that Jake being Jake is better for everyone because Jason brought nothing but pain to the family. He also pointed out that if Jake knew who he really is, then he would lose ELQ. Laura was appalled that this is about money, but Nikolas reminded her that she lied about him to protect her own family.

At the hospital, Lucas saw the ring on Carly's finger and she told him the good news. As they talked about wedding plans, Lucas opened up about his suspicions that Brad is holding something back from him. In the hallway, Jake ran into Sam and he told her that little Jake was never dead. Sam said that she wants the boy to meet Danny. Carly arrived and saw the boy, and she tearfully introduced herself. Little Jake wondered why everyone cries when they meet him, and Carly said that everyone's happy that he's home.

At the locker room, Brad revealed his secret to Frank, who told him that he should tell Lucas the truth. Brad found Lucas and told him that he can't marry him.

Luke headed to the Spencer house and pulled out a gun and said that if the house goes, then he goes, too.

Here's what to expect on "General Hospital" on Friday, July 24: Luke and Bobbie have an emotional moment; Maxie and Nathan's dinner is interrupted by Madeline; Laura makes a confession to Scott; Luke points his gun at his heart.

"General Hospital" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. on ABC.
