Last week on "General Hospital," Dante asked Patrick if Sonny will be ok, but Patrick said that he might not make it. The cop told them that Julian is in jail and Dante headed for Sonny's room. Meanwhile, Morgan vowed that he would kill Julian, and Dante appeared and told his brother that he was looking into this. After Morgan left, Dante told his unconscious father that he wished he could have come to him for help — despite all the bad things that he has done, he still loves him and does not want to lose him. Sonny's machines started beeping.
Ric found a crib in his suite, and Nina and Franco appeared, playing a recording of a crying baby. They confronted him about what he did to Nina, and they said that they already found someone to testify against him. They made him sign the annulment papers, effectively ending Ric's marriage to Nina.
After his team worked to stabilize Sonny, Patrick told Morgan, Michael, and Dante that the bullet appeared to be moving toward his heart. Either the bullet or the surgery could kill him, and they needed to make a decision. Carly let the brothers talk about it, but later, she told the family about her decision and Sam was prepared for surgery.
After the surgery, Patrick told Sonny's family that he was able to survive, but he was not completely in the clear. He said that they had to wait for a few days to know if he would be alright. Carly went to Sonny's bedside, and he opened his eyes and looked at her.
Later, Valerie told Sonny's family that there wasn't enough evidence against Julian and that he has been released from prison. When Morgan appeared to be nowhere in the hospital, Sonny told Michael that Morgan is going to kill Julian — he must go find his brother and stop him.
