Last week on "General Hospital," Nikolas proposed to Hayden and told her that their marriage won't only profit their business but they will also have a marriage of equals as they work on building an empire together. Hayden accepted, and Laura welcomed her to the family.
Meanwhile, Sam tried to help Jason remember their time together. Jason asked her if they could spend more time together since he seems to remember a lot more when she's with him. But Sam said that he has to do this alone, fearing that she might not be objective when it came to his memories because this is her life too, and the memories bring up emotions for her. Jason said that he felt he was close to remembering what they meant to each other and that he didn't want to stop until he knew everything about his past.
Olivia told Dante about what Johnny did to Lulu and Valerie and she hoped that he could forgive Lulu. But Dante said that all he felt for her was anger and that they were getting a divorce. Later, Dante told Valerie about his decision to leave Lulu, but Valerie told him that the whole experience with Johnny almost killing her at the cabin made her see the light and that she can't be with Dante anymore.
Carly saw Sonny standing up and she was thrilled at his progress. However, Sonny was upset that he could't even take a single step yet and he told her not to tell anyone about this. He didn't want people to think he was getting better when he wasn't. She promised that she won't tell and urged him not to give up.
This week, Jake's actions have major consequences for more than one person while Dante and Lulu come to an agreement about their relationship. Meanwhile, Sonny bonds with a stranger while someone confesses to murder.
