'General Hospital' spoilers: Jason devastated after learning the truth

Last week on "General Hospital," Lulu went home to reconcile with Dante, not knowing that Valerie was there with him. Dante opened the door and just as Lulu was about to explain what she wanted, Valerie appeared in a towel. Valerie said that it was all Lulu's fault and that it was Lulu's doing that destroyed their marriage. Dante then gave Lulu the signed separation papers.

At the hospital, Jason bumped into Carly and he told her that he doesn't want to reclaim his life. Carly scolded him for being afraid to be Jason Morgan, but he said that his life has changed for the better and he doesn't want any part of his old life.

Later, Carly went to see Liz and she told Liz to let Jason go. Liz said that Carly isn't happy because Jason doesn't want anything to do with her or Sonny, but Carly said that Liz isn't letting Jason be the person that he really is. Then Carly bumped into Franco, who thanked her for dropping the charges against Kiki. Carly said that she did that for Kiki and Morgan and she warned Franco that this happy life that he has with Nina and Kiki won't last once Jason remembers his past. Carly warned Franco that it's only a matter of time before Jason remembers everything and kills him.

At Liz' place, Liz appeared to have been affected by Carly's words as she pulled off her engagement ring and handed it to Jason, telling him to go. She told him that he needs to leave so he can find himself, and Jason said that he doesn't understand why she's doing this. She told him about her argument with Carly, and she admitted that she wants him in her life. Jason told her to stop talking about it—he's with her and he has chosen to be with her, no matter what anyone says.

Will Lulu continue to fight for her marriage? And will things work out between Liz and Jason? This week, Lulu turns to a surprising source to deal with Valerie. Meanwhile, things take a turn for the worse as Jason confronts Liz about the fact that she knew who he was before he found out the truth about himself.
