Fans will get to enjoy more anime from Yasuhiro Irie.

The anime director, who worked on anime like "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood," "Scorching Ping Pong Girls" and Code: Breaker," announced that he will launch a Kickstarter campaign on Friday, Oct. 20.

The crowdsourcing is to allow his manga "Halloween Pajama" be adapted into a 20-minute anime. The proposed anime will be titled "Halloween Pajama in Seattle: The Dream Catcher." The project will be based on one of the chapters from his manga. Irie has made the particular chapter available in English and can be downloaded as a PDF.

The Kickstarter page details that the anime director is looking to raise 20 million yen or approximately $178,600. The 20-minute anime will flesh out the content of the chapter to fit its intended runtime. Additionally, the animated project will be a musical that will feature its cast and characters doing musical numbers. The production is set to finish by December 2018.

Fans who will chip in to turn the project into fruition will get rewards. The backers will get thank you messages, the finished animated project that can be accessed through streaming outlets, a subscription to its accompanying magazine, a digital original soundtrack, a copy of the original manga in Japanese, Italian and English, a Kindle download for the early concept art of the manga, the backer's name in the end credits sequence, a downloadable content of the anime in DVD format, a tote bag with the anime director's original illustration, signed t-shirts, invitations to attend the launching event of the anime in Tokyo, invitations to private screenings and the after parties, a cameo appearance in the anime as a character, and an appearance in the anime as one of the key characters.

The campaign will also target companies that are looking to fund the anime project.

Irie debuted the manga in 2013 and has already illustrated over 400 pages for the story. The anime director has been sharing animated and voice promotional materials for the manga on his YouTube channel since 2014.
