Franklin Graham in disbelief that Obama lectured Kenyan president on gay rights

American evangelist Franklin Graham could not help but shake his head in disbelief after he read reports that US President Barack Obama publicly lectured Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta about gay rights last weekend.

Obama is a strong supporter of gay rights and has championed the legalisation of same-sex marriage throughout America. When the ruling was handed by the Supreme Court last month, Obama lit up the White House in rainbow colours to show his unity with the LGBTQ community, much to Graham's dismay, especially since the rainbow represents God's promise in the Bible.

Now, his disbelief stems from Obama's actions during his state visit in Kenya. "I didn't know that we were sending our president halfway around the world to promote the gay and lesbian agenda! Samaritan's Purse has an office in Kenya and has worked there many years, and I can tell you that the churches in Kenya know what the Bible says about homosexuality — it is a sin," he wrote on his Facebook page.

Graham stressed that sin should not be embraced, but rather be recognised truthfully for what it is. People should also be aware about the grave consequences of sin. God's Word says: "The wages of sin is death."

"Thankfully though, sin does have a remedy — forgiveness is available through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. As a world leader, the United States of America is now exporting the acceptance of immorality via our president. What will the cost of that be?" Graham questioned.
