There is good news for the fans of third-person shooter game "Fortnite," as it has been revealed that the newest patch, V.1.9.1, brings more weapons to enjoy for Battle Royale and Save the World modes, as well as the Mutant Storms. Included in the update are leaderboards and an ultimate gaming experience for Xbox One X owners.

Developer Epic Games had enjoyed fairly warm support from players, and with their updates for "Fortnite," they may just garner more fans. As mentioned, the newest patch comes with loads of treats, including new firearms for the Battle Royale and Save the World modes.

For Battle Royale, the developer revealed the Smoke Grenade, a "non-lethal grenade is thrown like a frag but obscures vision with a white smoke instead of splodin' other players. This grenade can be found in all container types, and can spawn randomly as floor loot." In short, players can use this to help cover themselves from enemies.

Vindertech weapons were introduced as well. These include an axe, rifles, and a giant hammer. The update comes with the Mutant Storms' return, too, which could be earned once a player gets storm tickets from fighting. Also, there are two new leaderboards. Global Wins will present the top 50 players, based on the kind of battle and the number of wins. The second one is the Score, wherein the experience is measured.

For console gamers, Epic Games has taken Xbox One X playing experience to a whole new level by enabling the game to translate into 4K display. Through this, players will get to experience crisp reflections and details, as well as exceptional postprocessing effects.

The patch was released last Nov. 28, and it also fixed smaller bugs that caused minor gameplay issues.
