The long wait will soon be over for "Super Smash Bro." amiibo fans. Nintendo has confirmed that the three final figures will soon be released in the next coming weeks.

Final three Super Smash Bros. amiibo characters to launch on July 21 Smash Bros.

According to reports, after nearly three years, Cloud, Bayonetta, and Corrin, from "Final Finatasy" will finally be available on July 21. All three figures were showcased at the recent Nintendo Direct Broadcast.

Not much has been said about the delay, but reports suggest that the main reason behind it must have stemmed from the launch of a new Super Smash Bros. port for the Nintendo Switch. It would seem that Nintendo is trying to get away from its previous system and focus all its attention on the latest hybrid console, the Switch.

Nintendo Direct showcased the three "Final Fantasy" Characters that will come in two versions. However, some will only be accessible on selected retailers.

The key art for the three "Final Fantasy" figures will be based on Super Smash Bros. characters on Wii U and 3DS.

Nintendo has announced that it will offer two outfits for each character. One Cloud amiibo will maintain his "Final Fantasy 7" figure, while the other will be based on his outfit from "Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children." One version of Bayonetta amiibo will rock her original outfit in the Wii U sequel. Meanwhile, Corrin amiibo will come in female and male versions.

Fans have been waiting for 584 days for the release of Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta. They first appeared as the final characters of Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS back in December 2015.

Along with the three mentioned characters, three new amiibo characters for "The Legend of Zelda" series will be launched. According to sources, the three new additions — Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword — will be added to the toys-to-life figures on June 23, in time for the 30th anniversary of "The Legend of Zelda" series.

More updates should roll out soon.
