The Duggar girls from the former TLC series "19 Kids and Counting" have a few strict fashion rules to follow. They are not allowed to show too much skin or wear tight-fitting clothes, and their skirts always have to be cut below the knee.

Despite these limitations, the girls have worked fashion to their advantage. A lot of their fans even try to copy the girls' unique styles,. As such Jessa and Jinger have decided to share some fashion tips.

Jessa says she loves the fall colour palette, so she tries to incorporate olive, maroon, and brown colours into her outfits as much as possible.

The new mother also loves tank tops and maxi skirts because they're "super comfortable." And since she has just given birth to Spurgeon Elliot a few months ago, Jessa finds herself veering towards baggy shirts, which she sometimes wears tied on the side.

"They're great post-baby, when you're trying to get back in shape," she says.

The girls' mother Michelle has taught her daughters to enjoy thrift shopping, so one of Jinger's favourite outfits is a brown dress worth $6 which she bought from a resale shop, which she paired with a brown cardigan and her sister's necklace.

"We all share a lot of things. It's pretty much free game [in our house]," explains Jinger. "Whatever works for you in the closet, you can wear it."

The Duggar girls have certain favourites from their wardrobe, too, so for these special pieces, their siblings have to ask permission first before getting some of these from their closet.

Jinger is currently being courted by 28-year-old soccer player Jeremy Vuolo, who is goalkeeper for the San Antonio Scorpions.

The two made their announcement through the Duggar family's blog. "As opposed to a more casual dating relationship, we really want to honor the Lord, and be very intentional about how we move forward," Jeremy explains in their video announcement.

"I met Jeremy last May and then we had the opportunity to go on a mission trip together," Jinger shares. "It was there that I really saw his heart and admired his character."
