'Dragon Ball Super' news: Vegetta's Super Saiyan form draws wild reactions from the internet

Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan Blue forms Twitter/"Dragon ball super" official

Those who have watched the recent episode of "Dragon Ball Super" do not need Geiger counters to know that Vegeta's power level has exceeded 9000, as the Super Saiyan prince's new form drives fans of the franchise crazy.

Episode 123 of "Dragon Ball Super" sees Vegeta assuming a new and never-before-seen level of Super Saiyan. The episode might have been about the rematch of Goku and Jiren, but it was Vegeta who stole the show when his new form was unveiled by the end. His new appearance consisted of a light blue shade of hair color instead of the usual spiky Super Saiyan blond.

This blue Super Saiyan hair color was also matched by an equally blue aura surrounding Vegeta, as an indication of his improved power. Many of fans of the show and franchise then took to Twitter after the episode to rave on about Vegeta's new form. While only some have claimed it made the Super Saiyan prince look rather cute, almost everyone unanimously and ultimately agreed that the character is now awesome.

Vegeta's manner of transformation was also one which shocked the fans since he apparently used Cabba's loss as his drive to reach new Super Saiyan heights. For those unfamiliar, Cabba is quite significant to Vegeta since he self-proclaimed Vegeta as his "Master" and even wanted him to teach him on how to be a powerful Super Saiyan.

Right now though, fans are tearing their hairs out at what could be the name of Vegeta's new Super Saiyan level and form. This is because it was not mentioned in the particular episode, leading some to assume that it could be an elevated version of Super Saiyan Blue.

It also remains to be seen whether this new form of Vegeta will be canon or might get ret-conned in the next episodes of "Dragon Ball Super." Fans will soon find out more about Vegeta's new form next Saturday, Jan. 20 at 7:15 p.m. CST on Crunchyroll.
