"Dragon Ball Super" is about to get wild with action. Episode 90 titled "Overcoming the Wall: Goku vs. Gohan" will feature the fight many fans have been waiting for. According to recent spoilers, the upcoming episode will be a test that Gohan may not be prepared for even after going through Piccolo's training.

Blasting News reports that Gohan, now mostly done with his training, will have to face his father Goku, who is known across the universe for his strength and powers. The fight will put his skills to the test and reports say that Gohan's powers have become unprecedented. Despite this, can he finally grow out of his father's shadow and gain the power to create his own path? The result of the ultimate test is kept under wraps but fans can expect that it won't be disappointing at all.

Before the fight between the father and son, "Dragon Ball Super" will feature a team match that will showcase Gohan's growth. However, apparently unsatisfied with what he sees, Goku will go ahead and challenge his son to a fight which will lead the fans to the showdown that they've been waiting for.

The team match has Gohan and Piccolo in one team and Goku and Teshinhan in the other. Korean Portal reveals that the team match will show that Gohan's training not only strengthened his powers but also his will. The maturity will impress his father, but he won't be satisfied enough to acknowledge that his training was a success.

A preview has been released for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 90 which shows the exact moment when Goku looks just like the proud father that he is. Many fans have also noted Gohan will enter Super Saiyan mode first while Goku will face him for as long as he can in his regular form.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 90 will air on Sunday, May 14 on Fuji TV and other anime streaming sites.
