Rumours have been circulating a lot online lately that Josh and Anna Duggar from "19 Kids and Counting" are on the brink of getting a divorce.

But after Josh's sister Jinger tied the knot last week to soccer player Jeremy Vuolo, Josh made a rare public appearance with his family. After that, he and Anna were seen enjoying a double date with Anna's sister Priscilla and her husband David Waller.

The Wallers shared a snapshot of their evening date on their Instagram account (@davidncil). Their caption for the photo appeared to debunk the reported marriage woes between Josh and Anna.

"Thank you, Josh & Anna, for a wonderful weekend together topped off with a fun #doubledate this evening! You'll are doing great! #sistertime #familytime," they wrote.

The divorce rumours were actually started by In Touch Weekly. The publication talked to a source who is reportedly close to Anna, who claimed that the mother of four has plans to hire a divorce lawyer so she can "rid herself" of him.

Anna reportedly found "new friends" who were concerned that she is being forced to keep up appearances by making it seem like everything is fine with her family.

"They were horrified that she'd been persuaded to talk on-camera about Josh and then wheeled out with children, looking like everything was fine," the source said. "Hearing those outside views changed Anna incredibly. She now agrees and feels angry that Josh has treated her so appallingly for so long."

Josh faced two big scandals last year. The first involved his child molestation issue, which took place when he was still a teenager. The scandal cost the family their TLC show "19 Kids and Counting," but they quickly bounced back with a new one this year called "Counting On."

The second scandal involved his paid accounts with the cheating website Ashley Madison. He was forced to admit his infidelity and issued an apology for the indiscretion.
