Thursday on "Days of Our Lives," Derrick joined Sonny at TBD and he asked if they were on a double date or if they were just hanging out. Sonny said that he was not sure. Derrick thought that Paul might still have some feelings for Sonny and if that's the case, then he's fine with being friends for now.

Chad arrived at Will's place and told Abigail that Dr. Evans told him that if he has feelings for someone, he should be honest enough to say it. Chad told her that he's in love with her. Abigail didn't believe it and screamed about how badly he has treated her. He apologized, but she was not having it and told him to go. He explained that when he overheard her telling Ben that she loves him, he realized that she needed someone like Ben, someone who wouldn't hurt her. He forced himself to lie to her. He got teary-eyed, and Abigail tried to compose herself. He told her that Ben is a good man, but she wouldn't find whatever it is that she wants with him.

At the apartment, Nicole came clean to Daniel about what happened to her and Eric. She asked him if he could ever forgive her, and Daniel said that he understands and that he loves her. Nicole cried and Daniel said that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

At the square, Kyle tried to make plans to go out with Paige when he saw Eve. Paige told him that she was not speaking to her mother, and he offered to make her leave. Kyle approached Eve and introduced himself, and he said that Paige didn't want to speak to her and that maybe she just needed more time. Eve thanked him and left.

Later, Eve ran into Jennifer at TBD and she gloated about Paige's new boyfriend. Jennifer called her a bad parent before heading out.

At Will's place, Chad moved closer to kiss Abigail as Ben arrived.

Here's what to expect on "Days of Our Lives" on Friday, July 31: Chad tries to convince Abigail that they belong together; Clyde pushes Ben to make a move; Will, Sonny, Paul, and Derrick's night out ends in violence.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
