'Days of Our Lives' spoilers, recap: Clyde threatens Aiden

Thursday on "Days of Our Lives," Aiden lied to Hope, telling her that he was robbed and that he fought with the man but never saw his face. Hope wanted to report the incident, but Clyde said that there was no evidence and there was nothing to give to the cops. However, Hope still called the police.

Meanwhile, Marlena and John arrived at the inn and Marlena examined Aiden. Although he appeared to be fine, Marlena wanted a complete examination done just to make sure. John said that the manager would get the footage of the attack from the security camera. Aiden suddenly screamed at them to get out, and everyone stared at him in shock. He then apologized and said that he just had a headache.

Later, Aiden told Hope that he dropped Clyde because he learned something bad about him. However, he had no proof so he hired an investigator to check on Clyde. Hope said that she's happy that they're now on the same side, explaining that after Bo, she never thought that she could trust someone again. She then treated Aiden's wounds and asked him to come home with her.

Later, John learned that the cameras at the Salem Inn were tampered with. He told Marlena that something seemed strange with this case. They discussed the ISA a little more and how John feels like something's missing.

Meanwhile at Kyle's place, JJ was shocked to see Kyle bringing out a gun. Kyle just laughed and said that he should relax — he just thought that the gun needed to be cleaned. He reminded JJ to watch his back for the DEA and the police. JJ then asked Kyle if he has been hearing anything, and he said no. Later, while Kyle was distracted, JJ picked up the piece of paper with the code to Kyle's safe.

Here's what to expect on "Days of Our Lives" on Friday, Aug. 21: Eve vows to destroy JJ's plans. Meanwhile, as Clyde threatens Aiden, John tries to move along his reconciliation plans with Marlena. Also, Caroline and Victor bond when he pays her a late night visit at the hospital.

"Days of Our Lives" airs from Monday to Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
