Last week on "Days of Our Lives," Jenn, Brady, Daniel, and Eric were involved in a horrific car accident and all four were taken to the hospital. Victor and Maggie were told that Daniel suffered a traumatic brain injury and that he's brain dead.
Later, Kayla and Finn told Maggie and Victor that Eric has a collapsed lung and an infection in his heart and that he needs to get a donated heart as soon as possible. Kayla and Fynn also said that Brady won't survive without a heart transplant. Kayla said that both Eric and Brady are compatible with Daniel's blood type, and she told Maggie that she needed to decide who got Daniel's heart.
Meanwhile, Abigail told Chad that Thomas is his son, and the two went to the hospital for a paternity test. Later, Chad started to get flashbacks and he remembered that he loved Abigail. A doctor came in and confirmed that Chad is the baby's father. As Chad held his son, Abby said that she knew that Andre and Stefano brainwashed him, and all of a sudden, all the memories came flooding back and Chad started to cry.
John arrived at the hospital and told Maggie to give Daniel's heart to Eric — he wants to donate his own heart to Brady. But Marlena and Kayla weren't having it and Maggie asked Kayla who had a better chance of surviving a heart transplant. Kayla said that Brady really needed the heart, while Eric could afford to wait a little more. Later, the heart transplant began and after two hours, everyone learned that it was a success as Brady could breathe on his own.
Hope still wanted to get revenge as she went to the DiMera mansion and demanded to see Stefano. She accused him of torturing Bo. She told him that she was going to make him pay, but this only made Stefano laugh at her. As he stood up and told Hope that she doesn't have it in her to kill him, Hope pulled the trigger and shot him in the chest.
Stefano finally meets his end and this week, and Melanie returns to plan his funeral. Meanwhile, Nicole struggles to deal with Daniel's death, while Chad asks Abigail to marry him.

Jan. 14 (Thursday): Andre starts to suspect Hope while Eric and Brady have a confrontation.
Jan. 15 (Friday): Hope considers making a risky move.
