Last week on "Days of Our Lives," Dr. Malcolm was in the woods and he talked to someone on his cell phone and said that no one knew that he was working for him. Later, someone shot him, and Malcolm died. Rafe and Lani arrived on the scene to investigate. Afterwards, Rafe headed to Hope and asked her for an alibi, knowing that she was the only person who wanted Malcolm dead.
Abigail received treatment at the hospital after giving birth to her baby at the cabin, and Chad took her to a hotel right after so she could rest. Abby and Chad ended up kissing, but Chad pulled away and apologized, saying that she just had a baby and after all she went through and he shouldn't be taking advantage of her.
At the SPD, Hope insisted that she wasn't the one who killed Malcolm, but Rafe told her that a gun registered in her name was used to kill the doctor. Rafe arrested Hope for murder, but Belle got her out on bail.
Chad went home and Andre immediately asked him to help him and Stefano get the money that was stolen from them. Chad refused to take part in their scheme and told him that he and Abby finally have a chance to be together. Chad went back to the hospital, but Andre followed him and injected him with a strange substance.
Chad woke up at the basement of the DiMera mansion to find that he was being brainwashed by Andre, who was telling him to leave Abby and to go after Belle, who has the money. Later, he went to the hotel and told a devastated Abby that he can't be with her.
Will Hope find out who framed her for Dr. Malcolm's murder? And is this the end for Chad and Abigail? This week, Abby will experience more heartbreak when she sees Chad having dinner with Belle. But she won't be giving up on him as Abby will confront Stefano and Andre about Chad. Meanwhile, Rafe learns more information about Dr. Malcolm.
