Last week on "Days of Our Lives," Ben told Abigail that he wants them to get married as soon as possible and suggested that maybe they should fly to Las Vegas. Abby cried and told him that she wants to get married in Salem, so Ben gave in and Abby got started on planning their wedding.
Meanwhile, Stefano said that Chad should go after Abigail, but Chad said that it didn't seem right to go after an engaged woman for her wealth. Chad pretended to go along with his father's plan, but upon seeing Abigail, he told her the truth – it was Stefano's plan to have the two get together for Abby's inheritance. Abby is surprised and said that she has nothing, but Chad tells her that she will, soon. He told her about Bridget's land in France and that she was planning on giving it to Abby.
Stefano was furious at his son's betrayal and ordered him to leave at once. Later, Chad ended up at TBD, and he drunkenly talked to Abby's picture on his phone and hoped that she would be very happy. Ben approached him and asked if he had a bad day, and Chad congratulated Ben instead, telling him that he's a lucky man.
Theresa schemed to get Brady's sympathy and used Xander to get it. She pretended that Xander attacked her, and Brady thought that it was real. Victor was not as convinced and asked Xander why he's lying — in any case, he's on his own now. Brady asked Theresa if she's alright, and he told her that he will testify against Xander.

Aug. 31 (Monday): Rafe asks Chad how he knew the murder victim, while Aiden makes a phone call and reveals his true intentions.
Sept. 1 (Tuesday): Theresa, Kate, and Nicole focus on the same goal while Jennifer and Eve get into a fight.
Sept. 2 (Wednesday): Justin becomes the new DA and has a difference of opinion with Rafe about the murder investigation; evidence piles up against Chad while Clyde threatens JJ.
Sept. 3 (Thursday): Hope thinks about accepting Aiden's proposal, while Stefano offers to clear Chad's name if he agrees to go after Abigail again.
Sept. 4 (Friday): Nicole asks Brady for a favor while Theresa seeks help from Maggie.
