David Copperfield news: Magician accused of sexual assault by another former teen model

Magician David Copperfield seems to have run out of magic tricks, as he faces another sexual assault allegation from a former British teen model.

Apparently, David Seth Kotkin a.k.a. Copperfield, molested the anonymous accuser during their on-stage act while she helped him during his magic performance. Copperfield's misconduct began with a grope to her backside which progressed and aggravated as the graffiti trick went on. The magician then whispered to her to come find him at the backstage after the show.

This was back in the '90s though, approximately 20 years ago, and at the time, Copperfield was dating model Claudia Schiffer. The said performance Copperfield did was for his Dreams & Nightmares show in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada.

"The thing about magic is the deception and that's what he did with the audience when he assaulted me. I didn't know what to do. I was in shock, I just froze," said the alleged victim. She has since filed a statement regarding the sexual assault to the London police where they forwarded the case to Canadian officers since the incident took place in that country.

This was the second time this year that Copperfield faced sexual assault charges. Earlier in the week, the 61-year-old magician denied claims of him drugging and assaulting 17-year-old teen model Brittney Lewis back in 1988. Lewis alleged that Copperfield poured drugs into her drink during a date and proceeded to rape her once she lost consciousness.

Afterwards, Copperfield forced her to sign a written agreement that nothing bad happened to her, where the magician also claimed that he did not "enter her" since she was underage at the time. This was not the first time Lewis filed the same case against the magician; she also came out during Copperfield's heated 2007 sexual assault investigation.

Copperfield, on the other hand, argued that he was simply being falsely accused now just as he was back in 2007. Investigations for the latest anonymous victims' case is now underway, and the results remain to be seen.
