Season 5 of "Dance Moms" ended with Maddie Ziegler giving a stellar solo performance during the group's Nationals dance number, which impressed the audience and made dance coach Abby Lee Miller become very emotional. Ziegler, who is often said to be Miller's favorite among her dancers, has become very famous at the age of 12. She has danced in three of Sia's music videos and even appeared on an episode of "Pretty Little Liars" this summer.

As the 12-year old star has reportedly started taking acting classes, many fans are speculating that season 5 might be her last appearance on the Lifetime series. Is Ziegler about to leave the world of competitive dance for good?

In an interview with The Telegraph last May, Ziegler said that dancing is still her priority, but she also wants to try acting and singing.

"I definitely want to be a triple threat," she said.

And while she didn't say that she won't be coming back to the show when it returns for its sixth season, she said that her dream is to leave reality TV and become an actress.

Ziegler, who her mother Melissa describes as having a "Type A personality," plans to have a career beyond reality shows as she told Yahoo, "I don't want to just be a reality star. I don't just want to live my life in a stressful mess. I'm obviously not going to be doing competitions for the rest of my life."

She is clearly set on trying new things as earlier this month as she also made her foray into the fashion world as she walked the runways with her sister Mackenzie at the Polo Ralph Lauren Fall 2015 children's fashion show.

As of the moment, it is unknown whether she'll be returning to "Dance Moms" or not, but one thing that's clear is that she has a good relationship with Miller. The two recently teamed up to launch a new dance app called "Dance Secrets" and according to Bustle, the app contains hair and makeup advice from Ziegler, dance routines, dance essentials, and demonstrations which will appeal to people who are passionate about dance.
