"Dance Moms" star Measi Caes just went all-out in a video of her dancing hip-hop to the tune of a Tinashe song, and it has since gone viral on social media platform Instagram.
The 12-year-old, in black shorts and crop top, was seen doing her signature dance move, called the "Whack Back," in a video which was originally posted last year and had then garnered 1.7 million views on YouTube. Caes reposted the video on her Instagram account on Oct. 28. The video shows Caes dancing to a choreography by Deja Carter, an LA-based dancer.
Caes stated in the caption how grateful she was for what she had become over the course of a year and thanked dance instructor Abby Lee for the opportunities granted her. Caes is a "Dance Moms" season 7 regular cast. Caes was first discovered by "Dance Moms" showrunners when she was just 10 years old.
The show, which features how mothers would do anything for their children, was not the only one that saw the potential of the flexible dancer. Caes had also graced the stage with Justin Bieber, performing for his Purpose tour in June 2016, a truly amazing experience for any 12-year-old. She had as well performed with Silento, who popularized "nae-nae."
Caes had been known for fancying hip-hop and for being flexible. She started taking dance lessons when she was just 3. That said, the young lady does not just have killer moves. Her mother, Jaime, revealed to Cosmopolitan that Caes remains humble with her feet on the ground. "She's truly the most humble, sweetest young lady you will ever meet in your life. She was overwhelmed and truly felt so blessed," Jaime said.
She added that Caes was new in "Dance Moms" when the video was taken. Jaime also narrated how the video came about just a day after shooting for the show, and that it had instantly become a hit just minutes after uploading.
