In the next episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Larry David who plays himself gets hurt by his ex-wife Cheryl who gives her new boyfriend, Ted Danson, a nickname.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Larry Mouths Off to a Cop" was just released recently and showed Cheryl calling Danson "T" in front of Larry who immediately takes offense to that. "You never game me little nicknames. You could have called me 'Elvid'," Larry told Cheryl in frustration. However, Cheryl just brushes it off and thinks that he is just overreacting.

Larry had been married to Cheryl for many years before they got divorced. Now, they are single and free to date whoever they want. This though might be hard for Larry to do.

In a later scene, Larry honks at a police vehicle which prompts the cop to come out and approach his car. The cop tells Larry that it was a bad decision to honk at a police officer. He, however, asks the cop whether civilians cannot honk at officers. The policeman replied, "Absolutely, I'm a police officer. I protect your rights."

Larry, however, tells him that civilians have the right to honk which infuriates the cop. It remains to be seen how the awkward scene will end and if Larry will be given a warning for his actions.

In the last episode, Larry did not take too lightly over the news that Danson was dating his ex-wife. He told Danson personally that he did not want him to go out with Cheryl because he still felt awkward about it. Danson was, however, able to convince Larry to think otherwise since it has been a number of years since they have been divorced.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" season 9 episode 3 will air on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 10 p.m. EDT on HBO.
