'Criminal Minds' season 11 spoilers: BAU deals with unusual Unsub in episode 10

Last week on "Criminal Minds," the BAU dealt with one Unsub, Jacob DuFour, a psychopath who took pleasure in killing people and carving their faces off to wear, and a murderous group called The Dirty Dozen, who kills off DEA agents.

While the team was able to track down DuFour, the assassin group remains at large, and Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) was forced to hide out at the station as the killers were now out to get her.

This week, the team will be dealing with a different Unsub, and it looks like this one will have a fascination for doing awful things to its victims in the style of Dr. Frankenstein, only much, much worse.

"Criminal Minds" is airing its winter finale this week, and in the episode titled "Future Perfect," the BAU will be hunting down an Unsub who may be obsessed with medical experimentation.

In the promo for the episode, an unconscious woman is being wheeled on a gurney in what appears to be a hospital hallway. The woman is strapped in and gagged, and when she regains consciousness, she sees that she's not the only victim as there's a man who is similarly bound and gagged on a gurney next to her.

The episode will air on Dec. 9.

When the show returns next year, expect "Criminal Minds" to air a different kind of episode as the hour will see Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) on a date. According to Cinemablend, "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza has signed on for a guest starring role as Reid's date.

Plaza's character named Cat Adams is described as "the date from hell" and the two will end up going to dinner together. However, while out on their date, Cat unexpectedly pulls a gun on Reid and forces him to save himself and the others at the restaurant as the two play a game of wits. Reid, who is known to be a genius, might have the advantage in this game, but Cat might have something else up her sleeve, and it will be interesting to see how this game goes and whether Reid will come up with something to save the day.

"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
