"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt had finally made his presence on social media felt since his split from "Scary Movie" actress Anna Faris.

The 38-year-old posted on Instagram on Friday, Oct. 3, a photo of him, his son, and his brother Cully gamely posing and flexing their muscles after watching the movie "Thor: Ragnarok." This was the first time that Pratt had posted on the social media platform after he and Faris announced their split on Aug. 6.

The photo hinted that Pratt had been spending some time with his 5-year-old son, an affirmation of his and Faris' statement when they decided to publicize their separation. "Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward," the two said in a statement.

The "Jurassic World" star had since kept mum about the split, but this was not the case for his former wife. In an interview with People, Faris revealed that they would always be friends despite their mutual decision to end their eight years of marriage. Pratt and Faris met on the set of "Take Me Home Tonight," released in 2007. After sparking romance, the two exchanged vows in 2009 in Bali.

Meanwhile, Faris had been seen in dates with cinematographer Michael Barrett. In September, the two were spotted at a carnival in Malibu, drinking beer and wine. Although they tried to try to hide their faces with baseball caps, people easily recognized the two and took the viral photos.

Aside from this, the rumored lovebirds frequented a posh Italian restaurant, Modo Mio, in Los Angeles, for two succeeding nights. Barrett and Faris met on the production of the movie "Overboard," which is slated to be released in 2018.
