In the next episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," Shizuma Hoshigaki (Ryohei Kimura) prepares to start a war with Kagura Karatachi (Keisuke Komoto) at his side.

The preview for episode 29 of the hit anime series titled "New Ninja Seven Swordsman" showed Hoshigaki reminding Karatachi of the legacy of the Blood Mist village which he wants to get back by starting a war. He admires Karatachi's weapon and tells him, "With these swords we can start a revolution. It's too late to turn back now. The great Yagura's blood flow through you. Take what rights you want!" Karatachi appears reluctant but unfortunately is under the control of the villainous Hoshigaki.

In the meantime, Boruto Uzumaki (Yûko Sanpei) and Sarada Uchiha (Kokoro Kikuchi) appear to seek the help of Chojuro (Kôki Miyata), the Sixth Mizukage of Hidden Mist village. They want to stop Hoshigaki from starting a war with the Hidden Leaf and other villages. It remains to be seen how Chojuro will help Uzumaki and Uchiha in their quest to stop the madman.

In the last episode, Karatachi told Uzumaki in the sparring room that he would get the Twin Sword and fulfill hi obligation as the successor of Chojuro. This pleased Uzumaki because he knew that the Hidden Mist village would be in good hands with somebody as good-hearted and powerful as Karatachi. However, Hoshigaki interrupted them and reminded the Hidden Mist successor of his violent past.

Karatachi felt guilty for his past wrongdoings that he decided to follow Hoshigaki. In addition, he did not want him to cause any trouble with Uzumaki. However, it remains to be seen how the end will play out since he wants to start a war with the other villages.

Episode 29 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will air on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 4:25 a.m. EDT with simulcast streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
