This week on "Bones," Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) were joined by the interns for the holidays but it wasn't all fun and games as they still had to work over the holidays to uncover the mystery of the body that was found in the water at a golf course.

The couple decided to invite everyone over when Booth found out that his wife wasn't planning to serve turkey for the holidays as there were only four of them to eat it, but he wasn't having it and said that they should invite Angela, Aubrey, Hodgins and all the "squints" over so that no food will be wasted. Brennan agreed, but she told Booth that he should cook the bird.

The team was seen going to a crime scene at a golf course, and upon seeing the decomposed body, Booth asked how long it had been there and the officer told him that he had no idea. The interns then started bickering over how long the body had been in the water, and one of them confidently said that it had been there for 2 weeks, 4 days, 7 hours, and 12 minutes. Upon further investigation, Brennan found out that the deceased was a middle-aged woman.

"Oh by the way, everyone here is invited to Thanksgiving dinner," said Brennan while she lightly prodded the corpse.

"Oh, that's a nice segue there," said Booth.

In the next episode, titled "The Cowboy in the Contest," Booth and Brennan will go undercover at an Old West-style saloon and the two will get roped into a shooting competition, while Angela and Hodgins discuss the future of their family, and Cam is going to get close with photographer Sebastian Kohl. The episode will air on Dec. 10.

In the promo for the upcoming episode, the team looks puzzled as they gaze at a corpse, and Angela wonders why the body looks as if "he was killed at the OK Corral."

The episode promises to be a fun one as Brennan and Booth go undercover—complete with Old West costumes—to catch the killer. The couple is seen at a saloon, and it looks like the two will be in trouble as they are challenged to a high noon shootout.

"Bones" airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Fox.
