Last week on "The Bold and the Beautiful," Maya was in her bedroom exchanging text messages with Rick as he waited for her. Nicole entered to help her sister get ready for her big day. Maya said that she always wanted to be a bride ever since she was a child.
In the living room of the Forrester mansion, Bridget came through the front door, to the delight of Brooke, Eric, and Rick. Brooke said she was so happy for Rick, and Eric jokingly told her that she might want to move back. Julius and Vivienne arrived and Rick introduced them to his sister.
Katie arrived at the mansion, and upon seeing Bill behind her, she told him to turn around and go home. Bill followed her and told Rick that he was not there to ruin his wedding, he just wanted to apologize. Rick thought that Katie was making him do it, but Bill said that he admired how they handled the things after the article in his magazine exposed Maya for who she really is, and that he wanted to talk to her.
Rick went upstairs and told Maya that they had guests. Upon seeing Katie and Bill, Maya couldn't believe that they were able to show their faces to her. Bill apologized, and Maya asked if he was truly sorry for what he did. Bill said he was not sorry that he sold a lot of magazines, but he should have asked her for an exclusive interview and gotten her side of the story.
Maya said that what he did was wrong, but being angry with him wouldn't help her anyway. She accepted his apology and invited them to stay for the wedding. She added that she might even give him an exclusive so his readers would know the truth.
Later, Vivienne went upstairs to give Maya her grandma's bracelet to wear. Nicole entered and told them that it's time. Downstairs, Julius and Nick talked about golf. Vivienne and Nicole joined Julius. After Nicole left, Julius said that he thought that the marriage wouldn't last.
Not knowing that Maya was at the top of the staircase, Julius said, "Rick can have any woman he wants, and he's going to marry into a freak show?"

Friday, Aug. 14: Ivy announces that she wants to have a more prominent place in the company; Bill and Katie think about the good things in their lives.
