BlackBerry Q10 release date for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint

The BlackBerry Q10 is expected to roll out to major U.S. networks starting today.

T-Mobile will be first U.S. carrier to launch the latest BlackBerry device, as it hits store shelves today. The BlackBerry Q10 is available for a down payment of $99.99 from T-Mobile, with customers paying $20 installments for the next two years to pay for the full price of the phone – which comes to $579.99.

T-Mobile has been making efforts to provide contract-free phones to its customers. Paying for the cost of phone in installments is one of the measures the company has taken to alleviate the cost of paying full price for the phone.

The cellphone device will hit Verizon Wireless store shelves on June 6. It will be available for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The store will also exclusively carry a white version of the Q10, which is not available to other carriers.

AT&T customers can purchase the BlackBerry Q10 by pre-ordering on its website. The initial cost of the phone is the same as Verizon, with the network selling it for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The phone will only be available in the black color and will start shipping June 18.

Sprint has not yet confirmed a release date for the phone but hinted that it will be available in "late summer."

The BlackBerry Q10 will come with the company's signature QWERTY keyboard, 2GB ram, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, and a 2 mega-pixel front-facing camera. The screen size is small at 3.1 inches. The phone will run on its own operating system- Blackberry 10.

The phone weighs 4.94 ounces and has a 2100 mAh battery with a talk time of 12 hours.
