Draya Michele was conspicuously absent from the season 4 reunion show of "Basketball Wives LA," and many took this as a sign that the star is done with the VH1 reality series. On Oct. 2, Michele confirmed that she had left the show as she took to Twitter to tell her followers that she doesn't want to be a part of it anymore.

"I have no regrets about reality TV and I'm thankful for the opportunity," she wrote. "It's just not my thing anymore."

While some fans congratulated her on her decision to leave the show, others advised her to stay on. One suggested that perhaps she would consider being on the show on a part-time basis so she could continue to promote her fashion line. Michele is the creator of swimwear line Mint Swim.

In response to the fan's suggestion, the star said, "nope, they will attack them."

After her Twitter announcement, Michele revealed that she has moved on from the VH1 show and is focusing on new projects. She took to the micro blogging site on Oct. 5 to let her fans know that her first film, "Will to Love," will be available on DVD, Amazon, and on iTunes. The film, which premiered on TVOne last June, features Michele in her first film role and she acts opposite Keshia Knight-Pulliam and Marques Houston.

Speaking to VH1, Michele said that she would like to do designing and acting at the same time for as long as she can.

"Designing is my first passion. Acting, this is new and I've fallen in love with this too," she said.

When asked about a possible return to reality TV, Michele said that she hasn't ruled it out completely and that she's not opposed to it "as long as it's a solely Draya project."

And it appears that the star is trying her hand at being an author as on Tuesday, Oct. 13, Michele told her fans that she's planning to publish a book with her "handwriting, typos, and doodles."

"I told you guys I'm writing a book. I'm old school but I'm actually writing in a journal page by page," she tweeted.
