This week on "The Bachelorette," Kaitlyn decided to come clean and tell Shawn what happened between her and Nick, and Shawn mulled over what to do. Ultimately, he decided to confront Nick.
The episode started with Kaitlyn still feeling bad after she sent Chris home, so on their one-on-one date, Ben tried to cheer her up as they went on a romantic boat ride to an island. Later, Kaitlyn told him that she thinks he's husband material.
"I feel like you're a lovable person," she said. "I feel like I could and I am falling in love with you."
Shawn, Joe, and Nick were chosen to go on the group date, and Shawn was not so happy about this, mostly because Nick was going to be there. But Shawn thought that although it's not ideal, it's a good opportunity for him to find out how Kaitlyn really feels. He pulled Kaitlyn aside and kissed her.
Later, Nick told Kaitlyn that he's falling in love with her. Not to be outdone, Joe told her that he's in love with her, but Kaitlyn told him that she doesn't feel the same way, and after an awkward hug, she sent Joe home.
Kaitlyn told Shawn that she wanted to spend more time with him that night, so she sent Nick back to the hotel. During her time with Shawn, Kaitlyn told him that she got intimate with Nick. Shawn asked her if she regrets it, and Kaitlyn said she feels guilty. Shawn seemed to have a difficult time taking all this in and excused himself to go to the bathroom to regroup. When he returned, he admitted that he was upset but said that he's going to deal with it.
At the rose ceremony, Shawn told the camera that he's going to come in "wanting to want a rose." Kaitlyn gave him the first rose, and he told her that he needed to talk to her. He asked her why she told him that he was the one but then she got intimate with Nick anyway. Kaitlyn said she shouldn't have told him that when she had other relationships to explore. In the end, Shawn accepted the rose.
Kaitlyn sent Jared home, who gave her a hug and told her to be sure that she finds the man of her dreams because she deserves it.
The next morning, Shawn got Nick's room number from the front desk and headed over to confront him.
"I don't think you're just here for Kaitlyn," Shawn told him.
Shawn added that maybe he's there so that he could change the way people think about him after what he had done during the previous season.
