Initially launched last year with a 4.5-inch display, the ASUS ZenFone Go makes a powerful comeback as the new variant of the popular smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch screen and better specs. The tech company has recently become more competitive in the smartphone market, going outside their usual gadgets such as laptops and personal computers.

The ASUS ZenFone Go 5.5, with a product code of ZB552KL, landed in India with a price tag of approximately $130. The affordable price has enticed consumers since its launch earlier this week and with all the specs that come with the ASUS ZenFone Go 5.5, it's a serious competitor in the market.

"It is a perfect amalgamation of beauty and strength," ASUS said, as quoted by India Today.

The phone comes with its iconic curved structure that allows users to have a more comfortable hold. It is also equipped with a rear back key for easier volume adjustment and capturing selfies.

"With the immense success of our previous versions of ZenFone Go, it was befitting that we expand this range to meet the copious demand. We are sure that this smartphone will help our users across the country live digital lives," said ASUS India Region Head Peter Chang regarding the launch of the ZenFone Go 5.5 in the country, as reported by Gizbot.

The specs of the tech company's new mobile product include a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED real-tone flash, a 5-megapixel front camera with a f/2.0 aperture, the Qualcomm 8916 quad-core processor, 2 GB of random-access memory (RAM), 16 GB of internal memory, and a 3,000 mAh polymer battery.

Aside from the internals, the sound system of the ASUS ZenFone Go 5.5 is top-of-the-line, boasting a built-in mono speaker and a mic equipped with noise cancellation.

The ASUS ZenFone Go 5.5 comes in two color variants: Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold. It is available for sale in India and on Amazon.
